  • Alexander WONG

    Wong holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from Eastman School of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (first-class honours) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His major mentors include Jeffie Leung, Dr Mary Wu, Wong Kin Yu, and Dr Jean Barr. Currently, Wong is an accompanist of Hong Kong Children's Choir, St. Paul's Co-educational College Primary School Choir, St. Paul's College Primary School Choir, The Learners Chorus and Musica Viva.

  • Patience FUNG

    Fung graduated from the University of Hong Kong and obtained her Master's Degree in Arts and Cultural Management from the University of South Australia. She passed all graded piano examinations with distinction and has obtained the Licentiate Performer Pianoforte (LTCL). An alumna of HKCC, Fung has joined many HKCC overseas tours as a choir member or tour manager. She was the General Manager of Opera Hong Kong, Founder of Opera Hong Kong Children Chorus and Founding Chairperson of the HKCC Alumni Chapter. She has served as a conductor or accompanist for various art organizations, primary and secondary schools. She is currently the General Manager of HKCC.

  • Kenix TSANG

    HKCC's alumna and a native of Hong Kong, Ip is an active choral and orchestral conductor. In the seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18, Ip was appointed by Jaap van Zweden as the Assistant Conductor for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently the Associate Conductor of Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Artistic Director of ANIMA Ensemble, she has worked with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, and Vienna Chamber Orchestra among others. As a choral conductor, she was the Music Director of Chorus Delicti Wien for 7 years and has conducted the Berlin Radio Choir, DR Vokalensemblet, Asia Pacific Youth Choir, etc. She has taught conducting in the BA and MA Programme of the Music Department, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2019 spring.

  • Vivian IP

    HKCC's alumna and a native of Hong Kong, Ip is an active choral and orchestral conductor. In 2025, Ip was awarded Third Prize at the International Ferenc Fricsay Conducting Competition in Hungary, becoming the first Hong Kong conductor to receive a prize at this prestigious international event. In the seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18, Ip was appointed by Jaap van Zweden as Assistant Conductor for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently, the Associate Conductor of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Artistic Director of the ANIMA Ensemble, she has worked with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Vienna Chamber Orchestra. As a choral conductor, she has conducted the Berlin Radio Choir, DR Vokalensemblet, Asia Pacific Youth Choir, and Indiana University Symphonic Choir. She has taught conducting at the Music Department, Chinese University of Hong Kong, since 2019.

  • Jason LIU

    Liu is an active collaborative pianist, conductor and composer based in Hong Kong. He is a faculty accompanist and teaches Junior Musicianship at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he attained his Master of Music with distinction under the tutelage of Hsu Wei-En. Liu attained the FTCL diploma in piano and the LTCL diploma in cello, and attained his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Hong Kong. He serves as repetiteur in numerous opera productions and as a freelance keyboardist at the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently Assistant Conductor of The Learners Chorus, he also regularly conducts various professional, university and secondary school choirs. As a composer, he received numerous commissions for musicals and choral works, and his compositions were awarded and performed locally and abroad. He is an alumnus of HKCC, and participated in tours as a singer and accompanist.

  • Alex TAM

    Born in Hong Kong, Tam is an opera singer, conductor, and composer. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London. He is currently Chorus Director of Opera Hong Kong, choir conductor and voice teacher at the HKAPA, and President of the Aria Academy of Music. He received the ARAM Award from the Royal Academy of Music in 2017 and the Outstanding Musician Award from the Hong Kong Music and Dance Association in 2018. In 2023, he was appointed Artist in Residence at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Tam is also a radio presenter on RTHK Radio 4. Tam’s compositions have been published in the Alex Tam Collection (CU Chorus) and the Alex Tam Choral Collection for Treble Voices (HKCC). Notable works include A Stranger, Soy Sauce Rice, and No Woundless World. In 2021, HKCC presented two acclaimed concerts, "HKCC Sings Alex Tam", featuring his works entirely. In 2025, he received the CASH Golden Sail Most Performed Work Award (Serious Music) for Trusting the Rainbow.
