Percussion Mini-Concert 2023 (10 December)

The second Percussion Mini-Concert, led by tutors Minnie Chau, Cherry Cheng and Lau Tin-wing, was held at West Kowloon Centre Recital Hall on 10 December. Classes P1A, P1C, P1E, P1F, P1H, P1I, P2B, P3A, P4A, P5A and P5B performed in front of an audience of almost one hundred parents who came to share the fruits of the students' hard work this year.
Led by Minnie Chau, classes P1C, P1H and P1I performed a variety of Christmas songs, doubling the festive joy to the concert. Classes P1E and P1F presented Xinjiang and Chinese folk songs specially selected by tutor Cherry Cheng. Two fast-paced and energetic works were brought to the audience by class P2B with the accompaniment by Miss Cheng, spreading warmth in the wintertime.
Classes P1A and P3A presented a South-American piece under the baton of tutor Lau Ting-wing, after which the last piece of the concert was performed by P5A and P5B ensembles, again led by tutor Minnie Chau, proudly showcasing their skills and techniques. All classes had taken the audience to a wonderful musical experience and won a big round of applause.
