My People, My Country Concert – Warren Mok Celebrating 75th Anniversary of the People‘s Republic of China with Hong Kong Youth 2/10/2024

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Hong Kong United Youth Association and Superstar Art and Culture Development Limited jointly organized the My People, My Country Concert on 2 October at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall. The concert, led by Hong Kong SAR CPPCC member and arts representative Mr Warren Mok, featured performances by Hong Kong young musicians. The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was invited to participate in the concert as one of the guest performers.

Members from HKCC class Senior A, along with all guest vocalists and choirs, opened the concert by performing My People, My Country and I Love You, China. HKCC members took the stage again midway through the show, conducted by Mr Alex Tam, to perform his piece Trusting the Rainbow. Mr Tam was also one of the young vocalists featured in the concert. HKCC also collaborated with Opera Hong Kong Chorus and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Choir to present Sail On.

The concert concluded with all performers delivering a series of classic songs, including Below the Lion Rock and Pearl of the Orient, expressing their heartfelt blessings to the motherland through music.
