Jockey Club Yat Po "Happy A-ge-cappella"

Presented by the A Cappella choral theatre group Yat Po Singers and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the "Happy A-ge-cappella" mini-show made a triumphant return! The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was invited to join hands with elderly members from the a cappella training course and performed at the Tuen Mun Town Hall Auditorium on 4 and 5 January.

The two performances featured classic songs presented in a cappella, by HKCC Intermediate 2I and the elderly choristers, bringing warmth and joy to the audience with lively and engaging choral theatre formats. "Happy A-ge-cappella" is a 3-year initiative planned by Yat Po Singers and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. This project aims to empower retirees and disadvantaged elderly individuals through a cappella singing, showcasing their talents and encouraging them to participate in community activities, expand their social circles, and promote intergenerational harmony. HKCC is honoured to contribute to this meaningful project.
