The Hearth: The Chorusma

The Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC) was invited by Tai Kwun to participate in the performance The Hearth: The Chorusma on 8 April at Tai Kwun Laundry Steps. Members from Intermediate, Senior and Chamber Youth classes performed a dazzling repertoire of choral music to showcase the abundant and diverse charisma of the genre.
The performance was kicked off by Senior G with the song Light of Hope and was followed by some well-known tunes including Friendship and Everybody Says Don't. Members from Intermediate 3G and 3H then sang Under the Lion Rock, Trusting the Rainbow and other songs with their crystal clear voices. Towards the end of the performance, Chamber Youth members performed Staying under the Lion Rock and What Souvenirs are in Hong Kong, selected songs from Tai Kwun-commissioned production This Victoria Has No Secrets, sending good vibes and winning applause from audience.
