2024 Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macao Choral Concert Songs Echo My Voice

The 2024 Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macau Choral Concert Songs Echo My Voice, co-organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Zhuhai Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and Macao Special Administrative Region Government Cultural Affairs Bureau, was held on 10 November at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall. Renowned musician Ng Cheuk-yin served as the music director, bringing together choral elites from Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macau. These included The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC), the CUHK Chorus, the Show Choir Hong Kong@Red Academy, the Zhuhai Grand Theatre Children's Choir, the Zhuhai No.1 High School Starry Sky Chorus, and the Macao Youth Choir, performing a series of well-known Chinese pop songs.
Under the baton of Music Director and Principal Conductor Kathy Fok, the HKCC Concert Choir presented two choral versions of songs from last year's Towards 55th Anniversary Concert "HKCC Pays Tributes to Sam Hui"—Eiffel Tower Above Clouds and Price Hike Fever. They also premiered a choral arrangement of the TV drama theme song Watering with Love, opening the concert with a fresh touch. In the grand finale, all choirs and the individuals from the girl group Beanies performed the theme song Songs Echo My Voice, a medley of popular songs, showcasing a new dimension of pop music via the unique charm of choral music.
