Gala Concert 2018 – Half-Century of Enchanting Singing

Choral members have been practising for months to bring spectacular performances to the audience and celebrate HKCC’s Golden Jubilee on Gala Concert 2018 – Half-Century of Enchanting Singing.

Tutors devoted themselves for the show as they arranged musicals and medleys for the young choristers, as well as preparing all the costumes and props on stage. Members sang to the music with synchronized dances to spice up the performance and win a loud round of applause.

The previous “50th Anniversary Logo Design Competition” held by HKCC received an enthusiastic response, in which Ms POON Sin-yi and CHEUNG Ching-yi stood out from numerous participants to be the Champion of Open Section and Children Section respectively. The 50th Anniversary logo that can be seen everywhere in HKCC is Ms Poon’s work! The Award Presentation Ceremony was held during Concert B, in which 2 of the judges, Mr KAN Tai-keung SBS, the renowned designer and Mr LEE Yat-wah Walter, Chairman of HKCC 50th Anniversary Preparatory Committee gave prizes to all the award winners, making the concert more meaningful. 

HKCC’s coming concert, “HKCC Towards 50th Anniversary – “HKCC & Friends” Concert Series”: Half-Century of Enchanting Singing” is being held on 28 October at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall, in which friends of HKCC will be joining our little singers to present beautiful songs on stage.
