Golden Bauhinia Square May-Fourth Flag Raising Ceremony

To commemorate the 99th anniversary of the May-Fourth Movement, the Committee of Youth Activities in Hong Kong organized a Flag Raising Ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square on 4 May this year. The Hong Kong Children’s Choir and 14 youth uniformed units were invited to participate in the ceremony.

Senior F performed the national anthem and read out the “May-Fourth Declaration” together with more than a thousand students at the venue. The Chief Secretary for Administration Mr Matthew Cheung, Vice Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR Mr Chen Dong, President of LegCo Mr Andrew Leung and Secretary for Home Affairs Mr Lau Kong-wah had also attended the ceremony.
