Golden Bauhinia Square May Fourth Flag Raising Ceremony (Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of PRC Establishment and 100th Anniversary of May Fourth Movement)

Invited by the Committee of Youth Activites in Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Children’s Choir attended the May Fourth Flag Raising Ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China and 100th Anniversary of the May Fourth Movement.
The ceremony was held at 8 in the morning. 100 members from Senior D and Junior 2B led over 1000 participating youth to sing the national anthem, followed by “May Fourth Declaration” by 16 uniform groups. Among the guests were Mrs Carrie LAM, Chief Executive of the HKSAR; Mr. WANG Zhimin, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in HKSAR; Mr. CHEUNG Kin-chung, Chief Secretary for Administration’s Office; and Hon LEUNG Kwan-yuen, President of the Legislative Council.
